New Pycnometer range

In spring 2009 Quantachrome launched a new generation of pycnometers for the analysis of true (skeletal) density and the open/closed cell porosity of rigid and semi rigid foams. The new features are:

  • more stable thermal environment leading to improved accuracy and stability
  • full Ethernet connectivity
  • two USB ports
  • data storage to either PC or USB memory stick
  • the instrument can email results on the completion of analysis

Single station Ultrapycnometer 1200e, Micro-Ultrapycnometer and UltraFoam and five-station Pentapycnometer models are available.
