Quantachrome’s new Cryostat allows gas sorption measurements to be performed at any temperature from 77K to 200K (+/- 0.1K) using only LN2 as the cryogen.
The performance of our Autosorb analysers combined with the new Cryostat and the use of LN2 only extends to quantifying the isosteric heats of adsorption, Argon adsorption at 87K, the use of novel gas/cryogen combinations for the investigation of gas storage (hydrogen, CO2), nanomaterials, micropore structure and adsorption kinetics.
